Weimaraners in The Field 2020/2021:

Though quite a number of Weimaraners were entered and drawn to run in HPR field trials during the 2020/21 season, the impact of government restrictions imposed on daily life in a response to the Coronavirus pandemic, severely curtailed the ability of clubs to run their trials. The first national lockdown ran from 26^th March 2020 and lasted into July 2020, with restrictions on gatherings and activities being an almost permanent feature of the remainder of 2020, with another national lockdown, the third, from January 2021.

There was serious doubt that any field trials would even take place at all.

So, the only field trial result we can celebrate a Weimaraner achievement came from Jean Byrne’s Ch Enryb Singles Party JW (“Frank”), who managed a CoM at the GSPA Novice field trial at Radbourne, Derbyshire on 19^th October 2020. Well done Jean and Frank.
